We have some exciting news to share! Michael and I have been invited to participate as Guest Faculty for a week at The Modern Elder Academy - the world's first midlife wisdom school. We will be sharing our story, along with our “wisdom” on a wide range of topics including how full-time travel has influenced our world views, our well being, our relationship, and our outlook on life. Of course, we’ll also share some practical advice on how to become a Senior Nomad.
The school and its mission of helping people visualize growing bold, not old is the brainchild of Chip Conley; hotel entrepreneur, best-selling author, inspirational speaker, Esalen board member and Burning Man visionary. Chip has written several books, but his latest, Wisdom at Work - The Making of a Modern Elder, inspired him to create a beautiful, intimate retreat for those seeking direction for the “best of their lives”. There have been multiple articles written about the MEA in a wide range of credible publications, but this story in Forbes Magazine does an excellent job of summarizing the vision behind the venture.
If you’d like to join us June 7th - 14th at this stunning beach retreat to evolve, learn, collaborate, counsel, and “make the shift” with like-minded midlifers (average age 45 - 65) then sign up for Wisdom meets Wanderlust. We promise a week filled with life-changing inspiration from the dedicated MEA staff as well as our sessions on transformative travel. And of there will be plenty of time to nurture yourself with walks on the beach, yoga, meditation, good company, and delicious, nutritious food and drink.
Class size is limited and applications are due by March 22nd. Don’t miss this opportunity to spend an informative week with Michael and me as we share how travel can transform your retirement journey.
We look forward to seeing you there! And, as always, thanks for following along,
Debbie and Michael Campbell
