Hello, Dear Readers!
This will be the last post that will appear in your inbox. After writing 267 posts over the past 12 years, it’s time to put down the pen along with our suitcases! Of course, we will still travel, and I will post on occasion - so if you want to continue to follow us, check the website, or Senior Nomads Facebook, or join our Facebook Group for updates. I will definitely write about the books Michael and I enjoyed in 2025 in January because I know that is a favorite, so watch for that one!
We have had such an incredible adventure as The Senior Nomads - and it has been a joy to take you along with us. Over the years, I have read every comment and have done my best to respond to your kind words and questions. Thank you so much for making me feel it was worth it. But as Michael’s father said, “Always leave the party while you are still having a good time!” Sound advice!
I will leave you with this interview on Rick Steve’s Radio show that ran last weekend. We talked about some of the lessons we’ve learned along the way, and one thing I can say for sure is that our travels have given us faith in humanity and allowed us to make lasting friendships around the world.
